Description of biomass gas and generating principle:
There are 3 mainly ways to generate power (biomass gas) form biomass: gasify generating, burning generating (burning directly) and CHP (Combined Heat and Power) technology.
After being gasified, the biomass gas mainly contains: CO, H2, CH4, CO2, O2, and N2.
The lowest heating value is 5~6 MJ/Nm3.
Efficiency of gasification: 1kg dried material can generate 2Nm3.
The conversation rate is more than 85%.
Thus, 1kg dry material can generate 1kwh power.
Biomass generator requirements for biomass gas:
Within 1meter from gas intake valve of generator
1. Gas temperature ≤ 40ºC
2. Pressure 3-20kpa, pressure changing rate ≤ 1kpa/min
3. H2S ≤ 200mg/Nm3
4. NH3 ≤ 20mg/Nm3
5. CH4 content ≥ 40%, changing rage ≤ 2%/min
6. Tar Content ≤ 20 mg/Nm3
7. Heat value ≥ 4.2MJ/Nm3
8. Impurity particle size ≤ 5μm, impurity content ≤ 30mg/Nm3
9. Moisture content ≤ 40g/Nm3
